This model combines historical details, authentic materials, and a timeless straight silhouette, embodying Japanese manufacturing tradition. The fabric is a 13 oz denim made from African organic cotton, with yarn produced using a historic Ishikawadai machine. The particular spinning technique generates a deliberately irregular and textured surface, with a rustic feel and remarkable color depth. With wear, the denim progressively develops whiskers, fading, and natural abrasions, building a unique and personal patina. The non-selvedge construction is a precise choice, intended to recall the first denim produced by BIG JOHN in Japan.
