This hoodie is made from a 13 oz heavyweight sweatshirt fabric, characterized by a compact and substantial structure and a special three-dimensional (3D) pattern designed to ensure comfort and freedom of movement despite the fabric's weight. The design maintains a basic and minimal aesthetic, allowing the quality and presence of the material to define the garment. The construction has been designed to make even a thick and heavy fabric comfortable: the back panel is intentionally wide and wraps around the shoulders, while a special seam on the front naturally follows the body's structure. The ribbed knit side inserts, extending from the armpits to the bottom, complete the 3D pattern and increase freedom of movement, helping to create a wide and comfortable silhouette. The body is made using the fabric in the cross-grain direction, a technical choice that minimizes stretching and shrinking in the vertical direction, helping the garment maintain its shape more stably over time. The kangaroo pocket internally features 5.5 oz jersey bags, the same type of fabric used for T-shirts. This solution reduces stiffness and bulk, making the pocket pleasant to use also as a practical hand warmer. As with many Good On garments, every detail has been studied considering the fabric's behavior during garment dyeing and subsequent washing. The fit and proportions are calculated based on the expected shrinkage, so as to achieve the ideal shape once the process is complete. The Black version in reactive dye features an intense and clean shade, enhancing the natural softness of the cotton and maintaining a simple and easy-to-match aesthetic. The pigment-dyed variants, on the other hand, enhance the characteristic texture of the sweatshirt, creating deep tonal variations. Over time and with washing, the color gradually fades from the surface, developing an increasingly rich patina and an appearance similar to that of an authentic vintage garment.
